What are the benefits of Pilates?
The common benefits are: stress reduction, improved posture, balance,
strength (particularly in the abdominals and the back), increased
flexibility and increased mental/physical energy levels. Pilates will
bring you into awareness with your body and you can in turn carry that
awareness with you throughout your daily life.

Stacy is a Master Teacher Trainer for Pilates Sports Center out of Los Angeles, CA.
She is certified in Pilates through Body Arts and Science International (BASI). She is also a certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as well as a Certified Primary Group Instructor through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and an IDEA member. Her one-on-one training sessions blend the art and science of human movement, as encouraged by BASI, while focusing on the union of strength and balance for everyday life. It was after a series of surgeries when Pilates was introduced to her as rehabilitation that Stacy truly understood the benefits this form of exercise could offer people, no matter what their current physical condition. Stacy maintains a great respect for the tradition of Pilates and strives to uphold the standards of Joseph Pilates while incorporating the NASM model and holding an openness to scientific advances.
Stacy has a B.A. in Theatre from Florida State University and currently is pursuing a Nursing Degree.
